The need-target component of the military professional motivation of cadets of universities of the Russian guard

The ongoing special military operation necessitates the need for regular officers motivated to ensure the fulfillment of assigned tasks and confidently ensure the security of society. Higher military educational institutions of the Russian Guard adequately fulfill the task of qualitatively preparing cadets for their upcoming professional activities, paying special attention to the process of forming the motivation of future professionals. The purpose of this article is to identify the content of the need-target component of the military-professional motivation of cadets of universities of the Russian Guard and to characterize it. The article presents the content of the need-target component of military professional motivation, namely: 1) non-professional motives; 2) static military-professional motives; 3) dynamic military-professional motives; 4) integration of personal and military-professional motives. The integration of personal and military-professional motives implies the formation of self-acceptance of cadets, their orientation towards success in military professional activity, awareness of confidence in the correct choice of the military profession. The integration process is the result of the transformation of non-professional and military-professional motives of cadets of universities of the Russian Guard.
