The article presents a variant of a possible full-scale reorientation of Russian business to the eastern market in the context of a global transformation of the world order and changing spheres of influence between the leading powers. Within the framework of the study, the authors analyze the main factors that influence the building of relations with western countries, the export structures of potential eastern partners and identify promising ways of developing relations in conditions of uncertainty about the specifics of the functioning of the trading system of other countries for a domestic entrepreneur. The authors definitely believe that the business associations «Delovaya Rossiya» and «Opora Rossiyi» are the main intermediaries for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the process of global changes in the still undeveloped markets and one of the main actors in the process of building new relations between the Russian Federation and the eastern countries. Within the framework of the proposed options, the authors note importance of matching the priority directions of the partner countries' development, which can help in the development of the eastern market and reduce the costs of the transformation process, as well as the incorporation of best practices in the field of social management into the business process. Taking into account the structure of Russian exports, imports of foreign companies and the national interests of the country, the authors propose such a direction for the development of business relations as cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region in the field of innovative technologies.
