The authors of the article continue to publish the diary of M. N. Khangalov for 1910-1911, which is kept in the collection of the Museum of the History of Buryatia (340 pages in total). The diary covers the history of shamanic rituals, school activities, everyday and social life on the territory of the modern Osinsky district of the Irkutsk region. The authors have presented the materials (pages 1-202 of the diary) on the school everyday life of the nonnative parish Bilchirsky school of Irkutsk Gubernia (1890), where M. N. Khangalov worked from 1902 to 1918, which from 1905-1906 academic year, due to the efforts of Matvey Nikolaevich, was transformed into Bilchir Nikolaevskiy two-class school with six-year course of study. The publication of the diary begins with the first entry from June 12 as the time of preparation for building the school, inventory for the new academic year and student's enrollment, and ends on October 31. This period is determined by the style and the rhythm of the teachers and schoolchildren description during the school year. The author of the diary describes the weather, criticizes the teaching methods of some teachers, and it is clear that sometimes he does not express his opinion out loud, but tries to convey emotions on the pages of the diary. Sometimes the diary entries break the chronology. As an example, among the messages of October 10-13, there are texts dated September 11-12 (pp. 172-173). The next materials submitted for publication cover the period from November 1, 1910 to 1911 (pp. 203-340). The dating of the dairy entries refers only to dates - January 1-15, 1911, when the author writes, ‘ I gave up keeping the diary, see no interest in it, life is boring and monotonous and I have to repeat the same thing every single day ’ (p. 284). Starting from the page 330, the author marks the following dates twice - September 2, 1911 (p. 330) and November 7, 1911 (p. 332). The entries on the pages 285-318 represent ethnographic, everyday life, and family descriptions. Khangalov again refers to the materials, devoted to the school life, on the page 319 of the manuscript, but without dating this part, separating one date from the other by three, rarely one, number sign instead. The personality of M. N. Khangalov is revealed to the reader of the diary as a leader-organizer, a teacher-methodologist, a public figure and just a caring person, who, with all his heart, is devoting for the future of the Buryat people. The publication preserves the punctuation, spelling and style of the original manuscript.
