Everyday life of urban society during the Khrushchev thaw in modern scientific publications

The author considers the latest local historiography of the daily life of the urban population of the RSFSR during the Khrushchev thaw. Resonant modern publications are analyzed, their grouping is made. The author identifies the latest local studies of the material and living conditions of urban residents of the RSFSR. The reflection in modern Russian historiography of the changes that occurred in the perception of the surrounding reality by Soviet people in connection with the housing construction boom of Nikita Khrushchev's era are considered. The author lists modern publications that determine the level of education of the urban population of the RSFSR during the Khrushchev thaw. Historiographical sources that study the habits and mentality of urban residents of the RSFSR in 1953-1964 are highlighted. On the basis of the identified modern scientific and historical publications the author describes the trends and contradictions that take place in the latest local historiography devoted to the daily life of the urban population of the RSFSR during the Khrushchev thaw era.
