Increasing income from non-aviation activities of an airport enterprise under infrastructure constraints using the example of Pulkovo International Airport

The article is devoted to the current problem of analyzing the non-aviation activities of Pulkovo Airport, one of the largest in Russia in terms of passenger traffic in 2023, and the development of a business idea to increase income from non-aviation activities. The authors consider the current situation in the air transportation market, characterized by a change in the structure of passenger traffic in favor of domestic traffic, which has led to a decrease in the efficiency of using the airport’s commercial space. To increase non-aviation revenues of an airport with developed non-aviation activities, it is proposed to use VK Business tools, which, despite infrastructural limitations, will allow changing the structure of tenants in such a way that the efficiency of using commercial space will become higher.
