Increasing the availability of services for the elderly

The article substantiates the need to draw attention to the problem of increasing the availability of services for the elderly. The results of the study made it possible to identify the most common problems in ensuring the availability of services characteristic of the regions of Russia. From all the variety of services provided to older people, the emphasis is placed on social services, and it is concluded that it is necessary to apply an integrated approach to their provision, including through the integration of social institutions.
