The scientific article presents tools that contribute to improving the efficiency of economic activity of enterprises in the petrochemical industry of Russia. The current problems faced by petrochemical enterprises are considered. The advantages of using the concept of "lean manufacturing" in the management of the efficiency of the petrochemical industry are determined. An algorithm for cost management in the activities of a petrochemical enterprise aimed at increasing the profitability of production is presented.
