The article proposes the systematization of scientific research aimed at identifying ways to improve the efficiency of food industry enterprises in modern economic conditions. The food industry enterprises are considered as objects of scientific research. The purpose of the work is to present a model of information support for the management system of food industry enterprises. In this article, the analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, and generalization are used as scientific research methods. This work proposes the information support for the management system of food industry enterprises, which can be adjusted to the scale of and implemented at both small, medium-sized and large enterprises, able to perform all the functions assigned to it. The proposed scope of application refers to the fact that, along with other works, this article expands the scientific field of research related to the activities of food industry enterprises. As a result of the study, conclusions about the model that ensures effective management of business entities are made.
