Improving the efficiency of the federal budget investments

In this article the importance of increasing the efficiency of public investment in the conditions of a sharp deterioration in the external economic environment, reducing the income of the population and instability of the national currency is proved. Recently there has been growth of the federal budget share in the structure of sources of investment financing in fixed assets, which is of particular interest to the federal targeted investment program. Increasing the efficiency of budget spending on the implementation of the capital investment is particularly significant in light of the need to achieve fiscal sustainability in the long term.
