This article examines four popular tools used for team formation and management, namely Agile methodology, Scrum, Six Sigma, and Retrospectives. The authors conduct a comparative analysis of these approaches, providing a detailed description of their core principles, advantages, and application areas. Agile methodology, based on flexibility, frequent iterations, and continuous feedback, enables rapid adaptation to changes and delivers value to the customer in the early stages of development. Scrum focused on clear planning, short timeframes, and regular meetings ensures effective task management and close communication within the team. Six Sigma emphasizing statistical analysis and measurement aims at process optimization and defect reduction. Retrospectives offering a team to evaluate its work after project completion contribute to identifying strengths and weaknesses for subsequent improvements. The article will be useful for project managers seeking to enhance their teams’ efficiency, as well as for specialists interested in studying modern approaches to project management and team formation.
