Improving the efficiency of emergency beacons as a safety factor

The article deals with the problem of false activation of emergency beacons of aircraft in flight and on the ground, analyzed the dynamics of spontaneous inclusions of arm in the civil aviation of the Russian Federation over the past 4 years. An attempt is made to identify the main causes of inclusions during this period, as well as measures that contribute, in the opinion of the authors, to improve the efficiency of the emergency warning system and improve the organization of search and rescue of civil aviation aircraft in distress.
