Improving the efficiency of modern legal education on the basis of foreign universities' experience

On the basis of summarising the experience of foreign internships in a number of universities of Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada the author analyses the features of western legal education and suggests possible ways of its implementation in the educational space of Russia. The features of the application of a modular system for training in law are reviewed, special emphasis is placed on practice-oriented methods. The author of the article analyses different forms of lectures and workshops as well as from of mid-term and final control of students' knowledge.
