Improving the efficiency of construction control in the context of the digital transformation of the economy

the need for digitalization of the construction industry is actively supported by the state within the framework of national projects and development strategies. Digital technologies are being implemented at all stages of the life cycle of real estate objects. This article is devoted to one of the most responsible processes in the implementation of an investment and construction project - construction control. The further safe operation of the facility depends on how effectively this process will be implemented during construction, reconstruction or major repairs. The authors conducted an analysis of modern software and controls that are already in use, but have not yet been widely used in regional construction markets. The study also identified key problems that hinder the introduction of digital technologies into the practice of implementing this process. Firstly, there is a shortage of qualified IT specialists in the construction industry who are able to develop computer programs and applications. And the second problem is the high cost of existing software. Competent and timely solutions to these problems will contribute to the speedy digital transformation of the construction control process, will improve the quality of services provided, reduce the time period for work and reduce the labor costs of specialists, which will eventually lead to savings for the customer (developer) and increase the profits of organizations that carry out construction control by increasing the volume of work performed.
