Improving the efficiency of project management in the transportation sector: methods and economic parameters of control

The paper presents the results of a comparative analysis of the application of effective project management methodologies in the transport sector, highlighting the distinctive features of their utilization aimed at improving the efficiency of industry-specific projects. The research identifies parameters, including economic factors, that influence the feasibility of their comprehensive application at various stages of project life cycles in the transport sector, with the ultimate goal of enhancing their economic performance. The aim of this review is to systematically elucidate the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the applicability of various methods in project management in the transport sector, alongside the parameters for their control. This approach enables the identification of development trends in management methods and their impact on increasing the efficiency of infrastructure-related projects. The results obtained have scientific novelty and can be used to enrich the theory of project management, as well as have practical significance for project development organizations and other stakeholders.
