The article presents the intermediate results of the functioning of the regional innovation platform (RIP) at the South Ural State College. The topic of the innovative project is aimed to modernizing the educational process, providing high-quality training for students in the technical specialties of vocational education. A model for training students has been developed based on the integration of traditional and e-learning tools. The methods and forms of their complex use in the educational process are considered. On the basis of the studied factors affecting the quality of training of students and the mechanisms of its improvement, a system of assessment criteria has been developed. A model of the process of creating and using digital educational resources is given, which assumes the functioning of IT specialists. New forms and methods of work, contributing to the development of general and professional competencies, are presented in the results of the competition for methodological developments. The results of monitoring the indicators of the quality of teaching students of technical specialties in academic disciplines, interdisciplinary courses and educational practices are presented.
