Raising quality of comprehension biology concepts by sign visual aids

The article deals with didactic features of sign visual aids, analyzes some of their aspects in teaching biology, the basic design principles of sign visual aids in the conditions of a school’s transition to federal state standards of the second generation. The authors proved the effectiveness of the established system of sign visual aids, the use of which contributes to the quality of students' knowledge on biology, improves memory, increases the level of comprehension biological concepts.
