Improving konkurentosposobnosti agricultural regions as a solution to the problem of import substitution of agricultural products

The article considers problems of innovative-economic development of the agricultural sector in the conditions of unstable external environment. The analysis of government policy for support of agricultural producers. Identified problems of development of agribusiness in the region and proposed measures for their elimination. The conclusion is that only affecting identified during the analysis of factors of competitiveness to ensure the realization of the potential of the agricultural sector that will reduce dependence on subsidy payments, and will help in solving the problem of import substitution of agricultural products.
