Improving corrosion resistance of agricultural machinery parts by oxicarbonidation

Бесплатный доступ

At agricultural engineering enterprises, under the conditions of sanctions on numerous materials, specialists have to solve the problems of import substitution and restoration of worn-out parts in production by implementing new technologies for manufacturing parts. In particular, it is necessary to select corrosion-resistant coatings for critical parts, which directly affect their durability, as well as the final cost of manufactured products, their quality and, as a consequence, the productivity of the machining process. The article considers types of products subject to oxycarbonitriding, necessary equipment for this operation, the schedule of a typical technological process. The analysis of samples from different types of steels for corrosion resistance after oxycarbonitriding in a climatic chamber has been carried out, the experimental dependence of mass loss of samples on the duration of their stay in the climatic chamber has been established. These results can be used in production, to assess the quality of carbonized layer and determine the service life of parts.
