Professional Development of Teachers of the Secondary Vocational Education System through Reflection in Order to Ensure Personal and Professional Growth (Using the Example of the Automation College)

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The problem of the content of professional development of vocational education teachers through reflection and other forms of work for the purpose of personal and professional growth in the Sverdlovsk region is discussed. The development of reflection and its diagnosis among teachers of vocational education will allow them to critically evaluate their actions, work results and their impact on the educational process. It is emphasized that it is necessary to monitor the development of reflection and the level of advanced training of teachers of different age groups in order to ensure personal and professional growth using various testing methods. The structure of the reflection study includes seven criteria and their diagnosis. The author briefly describes their components. The final diagnosis is to check the “Level of desire for self-development of teachers”. Based on the described experience and the analysis of the scientific literature of Russian scientists, a generalized model of the development of reflection among teachers has been formed. The materials presented in the article will be useful for compiling reflective maps and monitoring the quality of advanced training courses. Methodology. The methodological basis of the research is reflection and its types, on the basis of which the main content of advanced training courses for vocational education teachers is built, as this is required by the current situation in our country: intensive production growth and shortage of engineering personnel, the introduction of new standards, changes and modernization of the vocational education system. The transition to the “new realities of the time” will largely depend on the personnel and their mobility. Advanced training courses at all levels of education, participation in various professional skills competitions, “Teacher of the Year", “Best in the profession” should come to the aid of the teaching staff, which will entail significant changes in the content, forms and methods, the structure of classes and the need for regular professional development of teachers and this will ensure personal development. and professional growth through the development of reflection of each teacher.
