Advanced training of sambo specialists from Asian and Oceania countries at the international coaching seminar

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. According to statistics from the International SAMBO Federation, the popularization of SAMBO worldwide is confirmed by the growing number of practitioners and the creation of new national federations awaiting entry into the International Federation of Amateur SAMBO (FIAS). However, such rapid development of the sport faces challenges in terms of qualified personnel support for the athlete training system. To address this issue, the International SAMBO Federation conducts coaching seminars and master classes for coaches, sports referees, and sports functionaries. The purpose of these events is to purposefully increase the level of theoretical knowledge of specialists, improve practical skills, master SAMBO terminology (including in Russian), and thoroughly examine techniques from the main classification groups of SAMBO holds, as well as study didactic principles and teaching methods. The goal of research is to identify and analyze the current problems of advanced training of SAMBO specialists in Asian and Oceanian countries. Methodology (Materials and Methods). The international coaching seminar for representatives from Asian and Oceanian countries was conducted based on a series of lectures and practical sessions. Theoretical testing, expert evaluation of techniques from the classification groups of SAMBO techniques, as well as a questionnaire survey to provide feedback and assess the quality of the educational process were conducted at the end of the seminar to control the level of knowledge and skills of coaches. The following types of questionnaires were used: in-person, group (questionnaire sheets were distributed to all respondents, n=17), comprehensive, semi-closed, and anonymous. Results. During the advanced training courses, all specialists (n=17) successfully completed the theoretical and practical parts of the exam and received a certificate that allows them to certify athletes of national federations. The coaches mastered SAMBO terminology in Russian and English, learned the principles and methods of training qualified athletes, the basics of biomechanics when performing technical actions, etc. The foregoing is an important component for the development and popularization of SAMBO in the countries of Asia and Oceania, as well as the growth of competitiveness of athletes in the international arena. We would like to note the following feedback from specialists: it is relevant to develop teaching materials on SAMBO in other languages (Chinese, etc.), such as: special teaching aids, textbooks on SAMBO, interactive teaching aids (training films), educational programs, including those with the possibility of distance learning, etc. Specialists noted the need for detailed consideration and study of the combat SAMBO discipline at coaching seminars (technique and tactics in combat SAMBO, permitted and prohibited technical actions, analysis of competitive activity). An increase in the number of seminars and educational events worldwide, etc. Scientific Novelty. For the first time, the structure and content of advanced training courses for coaches from Asian and Oceanian countries were tested. The theoretical significance of the research lies in improving the SAMBO personnel training system. The practical significance of the research is that the results can be used to train specialists from various regions.
