Motivation is one of the components of human activity. It is connected with such principles as consciousness and activity. A positive attitude to various types of activities should be laid in childhood, including physical education. The formation of motivation is a psychoactive process that moves and controls a person in order to achieve a goal (effective training in combat techniques of wrestling, increasing strength indicators, strengthening health are the main goals of physical training in a departmental university). The main motivation for physical activity should be considered a special state of personality, which is aimed at achieving a favorable level of physical fitness and performance. Distinguish between internal and external motivation. The best results will be achieved if the cadet feels internally motivated. Motivating factors are the basis for raising motivation. These include: the introduction of a variety of new exercises; changing the technique of conducting classes; the use of new technologies during classes; musical accompaniment of classes; the possibility of choosing the type of physical activity; the use of various sports equipment when performing exercises. The existence of motivation - reducing factors cannot be denied. Increasing the training load is one of them. Increasing motivation is an important step in the development of a cadet's personality.
