Increasing the tax literacy of the population in order to prevent tax offenses

In the conditions of continuous modernization and improvement of various elements of the tax system, it is necessary to constantly increase the tax literacy of the population in order to protect it from possible problems associated with ignorance of the existing tax legislation and its changes. This article describes: the essence of financial literacy, possible ways to improve it, and data on the types of liability for tax evasion.
