Increasing the strength of heavy concrete with use of dispersed mineral additives

Бесплатный доступ

The use of dispersed mineral additives makes it possible to increase the strength of heavy concrete both during hardening using heat and moisture treatment, and during hardening under normal conditions. The greatest influence on the compressive strength of concrete is exerted by the addition of diopside in the amount of 9 wt. %, increasing this figure by 29 %. The optimal dosage of limestone flour is 2 wt. %. When using a complex additive with a ratio of limestone:diopside equal to 1:2 in the amount of 7 wt. % achieved compressive strength at 28 days of age 28,6 MPa. The increase in strength in this case is 40,9 %. Replacing 30-35 % of diopside with limestone flour in the composition of the complex additive will reduce the energy consumption of obtaining the additive.
