The article examines the formation of industrial policy priorities from the point of view of enhancing the role of public-private partnership, as well as identifies the priorities of industrial policy and gives a classification of priorities. Industrial policy is, first of all, a set of measures of state influence on the allocation of resources in order to improve the structure of the national economy and increase the efficiency of production sectors. The main criterion, as follows from the results of advanced experience and research carried out, is the acquisition of competitiveness in industrial sectors and enterprises, as well as support for relevant activities. From this point of view, industrial policy is in scope and strategic importance along with what is an integral part of economic policy. Industrial policy is a set of measures of state and legal regulation of the activities of business entities. This should also include a comprehensively substantiated set of measures of state and legal regulation with an optimal range of coverage of certain aspects of the purchase and sale of production factors of economic entities, organization of production, separation of goods and services, etc. The article reveals the possibilities of public-private partnership in the implementation of industrial policy priorities. The factors that form the environment for the development of industrial production are characterized. The ways of increasing the role of public-private partnership in the implementation of industrial policy priorities have been identified. Objective of the study: to determine what form industrial policy should take in the period of political and technological changes.
