Rise of the role of scientific research in preventing terrorist crimes

The article discusses the issues of improving the theoretical training of law enforcement officials in countering extremism and terrorism.The urgency of the problem is associated with negative manifestations in society, which are expressed in the radicalization of a certain category of citizens. In this regard, there is a need to improve preventive activities aimed at combating these dangerous phenomena, as well as theoretical and practical training of law enforcement officials. In this context, we should give higher priority to the programmes of study of departmental educational institutions. In particular, the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for a number of years provides theoretical training in specialized courses on improving preventive measures aimed at countering extremism and terrorism. Another significant contribution to the normalization of the socio-economic state of society in the context of combating crime is improving the scientific support of educational process, in particular, expansion of scientific research on the above problems.
