Enhancing the role of parliament as the bearer of executive functions

The article is devoted to the main functions of the state Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. In the course of writing, the constitutions of some countries were considered: the USA, Sweden, Greece and Belgium. The results of public opinion polls are also analyzed. In conclusion, the conclusions about the lack of full coverage of the state Duma of its representative function, recommendations are formulated.
