The integration of virtual reality (VR) into language education represents an important interdisciplinary transition: the fusion of cognitive linguistics and immersive technologies allows us to address the limitations of traditional language adaptation methods. The aim of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of VR in enhancing the language adaptation of students in technological universities, exploring how simulated language environments affect retention, engagement and intercultural competence development using of the principles of psycholinguistics and pedagogy. The methodology includes an experimental approach combining quantitative and qualitative assessments, the use of pre-and post-experiment surveys and linguistic competence tests to analyse the impact of VR on adaptive learning.
