Increasing the sustainability of rural development with the investment factor

Increasing the sustainability of rural development is associated with qualitative changes in the branches of the national economy. An important factor in overcoming negative trends in the development of rural areas is the investment component. The authors analyzed the current state of investments in the fixed capital of the Altai Territory. The place of the region is determined by the level of investment per capita among the subjects of the Russian Federation. The changes that have occurred in the structure of investment sources are revealed. The amount of funding for social and engineering development of the village is estimated. Structural characteristics of rural social infrastructure investments are given. The conclusion is made about the importance of investment inflow for enhancing the sustainability of rural development.
