The article summarizes the results of the Upper Paleolithic study of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir zone for 150 years, offers a new perspective for this period in the history of the region taking into account the multi-variant of the Paleolithic industries in different paleoecological conditions. In the late Paleolithic zone of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir the archaeological sites of the early stage (Ust-Karakol development line), the middle stage - with the industry of small plates (the early stage of the Tarachiha culture) and the late stage, which is a mixture of different directions: flakes (Afontova culture), large lameflaied (Kokorevo culture), smoll lameflaied (late stage of the Tarachiha culture), and others are traced. It is difficult to diagnose the variants of industries. The variety of archaeological and anthropological findings is confirmed.
