"Positional" accent of native Portuguese speakers in pronunciation of Russian vowels: linguodidactic aspect

The article analyzes the main deviations in pronunciation of Russian vowels in the accent of Portuguese-speaking students. These phonetic deviations are caused by the transfer of positional rules of the Portuguese language into Russian language. The features of vowels functioning in European and Brazilian Portuguese and the corresponding errors in the pronunciation of Russian vowels by native speakers of this language are highlighted. Training materials are presented. These materials can be used to teach Portuguese-speaking students.
