Pragma-linguistic peculiarities of metaphor functioning in military-political discourse

The article is devoted to the consideration of the pragmalinguistic pecularities of the functioning of the metaphor in the military-political discourse. The work was carried out within the framework of the speech-activity paradigm proposed by the Moscow Psycholinguistic School, in connection with which, the metaphor is presented as a process and result of encoding information by the addresser along with the process and result of its interpretation by the recipient.
