In modern realities, the import of products into the territory of the state plays a huge role, since it directly affects economic security, and intellectual property objects are among the most vulnerable from the position of violation of the rights of copyright holders. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the protection of intellectual property objects and analyzes the control of imported objects of intellectual property. In conclusion, conclusions from the analysis are presented and ways of developing the institution of protection of intellectual property are identified.
