Practical use of recommendation systems in libraries

The article shows the possibilities of practical application of recommendation systems in library services to users. The analysis of domestic and some foreign publications is presented with identification of algorithms used in recommendation systems applied in libraries of different countries. We believe that this material is of interest for the formation and use of digital profiles of library users and proactive satisfaction of information needs of library users.
