Management technologies of public trust creation applied by executive authorities: a sociological analysis (a case of Volgograd region)

The study presents the findings of the expert survey (n = 50) conducted to analyze the modern management technologies of the executive authorities in Volgograd region for building public trust (information, organizational, and legal ones). According to the results obtained, the level of public trust in the regional executive bodies is average due to ineffective management technologies used in this regard. The main reasons for this situation include their non-systemic use, the inconsistent implementation of organizational requirements, the lack of a mechanism for public involvement in the development, arrival at, and implementation of management decisions. It is possible to improve the efficiency of management technologies through the combination of technologies, the effective tools of civic engagement, a dialogue between the government and society based on a common view on the main development areas in the region.
