Practice on the right for an attorney in urgent investigative actions

An author analyzed the legislative standards regulating the rights of a criminal suspect and accused as well as an attorney to participate in investigative actions of the criminal proceedings. Legal norms were compared with the practice of their use, when investigative actions are sudden and take place in the urgent cases. It was found in this research that investigators do not undertake appropriate steps to guarantee an attorney participation in the investigative actions. It has been suggested to undertake certain measures to fight this negative practice.
