Practice-oriented or dual education: to the question of conceptual apparatus formation

Recently the German dual model of education is offered as a guidance for our country system of vocational education development. The paper points out that the documents of the vocational education authorities lack the uniform terminology, describing this model, and demonstrate the internal contradictions of the offered official conceptual apparatus. On the basis of the classic German dual model analysis the author makes conclusion about its incompatibility with the Federal legislation and offers the improvement measures. The author proves the necessity to use the conception ‘practice-oriented education’ in conformity with respect to the Russian vocational education.
