Practice-based approach to training students in combating crimes committed with the use of information and telecommunication technologies: the experience of the Management Academy of MIA of Russia

The article presents the experience of using a practice-oriented approach in teaching the discipline «Organization of countering crimes committed using information and telecommunication technologies”. An approximate scenario of cyber studies implemented as part of the educational process, as well as practical exercises to practice the skills of obtaining information from open sources, is given.
