The article is devoted to the problem of the development of practice-oriented approach to teaching the fundamentals of animation activities in the process of professional training of social workers at University. The author distinguishes the basic stages of implementation of this approach, technologies that contribute to the effective implementation of the animation programmes based on this approach.
