Practical workbook as a pedagogical condition for training transport security specialists

Introduction. The subject of the analysis was the organizational and technological aspects of performing written works in the learning process on the example of a practical workbook. The goal was to identify and substantiate the pedagogical conditions conducive to optimization of transport security specialists’ training. Materials and methods. The study was based on scientific literature, provisions of the laws of the Russian Federation, regulatory acts of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, as well as orders of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The following methods were used: identifying and resolving contradictions, setting the problem; analysis, synthesis, comparison and specification, modeling. Results and Discussion. The features of the formation and implementation of a competence-based learning in a departmental organization are characterized. The paper provides a brief overview of the main provisions of the legal regulation of the educational process, a particular educational organization taken as an example. Concepts pertaining to the organization of educational activities according to the higher educational curriculums are clarified. The characteristics of the practical workbook are revealed, its priority forms being proved. Conclusions. The priority form of educational activity is a practical workbook as a pedagogical condition for innovation, the implementation of which requires focusing on the procedural aspects of obtaining knowledge in the training of specialists for transport security departments.
