The article presents a historiographical review of national scientific literature devoted to the peculiarities of the process of formation and evolution of the tradition of the court chronicle writing of the set of historical chronicles of the Manchu Qing dynasty. It was concluded that the form, content and other parameters of the historical chronicles of the Manchu dynasty had been significantly influenced by the Chinese and Mongolian cultural traditions which led to the formation of a complex and multidimensional trilingual corpus of historical chronicles.
