The article is devoted to the Qing dynasty, which was at the throne for 260 years. The author analyzes this period through the prism of the work of Arnold Toynbee, "A Study of History". Toynbee pointed to the existence of such stages in the cycle as "The Genesis", "The Development", "The Flourishing" and "The Decline". The author's efforts were aimed at understanding how such a phasing could correspond to the objective development of Chinese society during the reign of the Qing dynasty. The topicality of this article is determined by the need for in-depth study of regularities in the development of the Chinese history. We should pay attention to the Qing dynasty cycle. The Manchurian dynasty is unique in the history of China. First, it was at the throne for almost three centuries. And secondly, after studying a lot of information on the history of China, we learn that no dynasty was able to assimilate so successfully in the Chinese classical structure of society. The subject of the research is the stages of the history of the Chinese society of the Qing era. Objective: to prove the features of the stages of the reign of the dynasty, which are reflected in many events.
