The citizens’ right to access to justice: the concept, content, entities

Based on international and domestic legal interpretation, the author defines the concept of the citizens’ right to access to justice. This procedural category is regarded as an inseparable initial element of the right to fair trial. The study provides an advanced concept of the right to access to justice which includes a set of procedural terms and covers all stages of criminal proceedings. The research focuses on the identity of two groups of the legal entities that have the right to access to justice and the right to fair trial. The study presents the selected data of a sociological survey to show the views of citizens on their right to access to justice.
