The article substantiates the relevance of the consideration of the use of force in international relations at the present stage. It is noted that in recent years there has been an increase in the use of force on illegal grounds. Cases and criteria of legitimate use of force are specified. Special attention is paid to acts of unlawful use of force, including aggression.
