The right to get information as a guarantee of freedom of mass information in Russia and Germany

The article is devoted to the right to receive information as a constitutional guarantee of freedom of the media in the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany. The author examines the importance of the right to receive information in modern society, the legislative mechanism for securing it, as well as the limits of this right provided for by the national legislation of both countries. The possibility and necessity of Russian reception of German experience in the field under consideration is noted.
