The right to leave one’s own country: international and national legal frameworks

The article analyzes the international and national legal frameworks for the right to leave one’s own country, discusses the concepts of visas, visa and visa-free regimes, and makes a conclusion that the fact that the right to freedom of movement is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights makes this right universal by nature.
