Legal-mental characteristics of Belarusian society

The article deals with the studies of the mental foundations of the legal culture of the modern Belarusian society. Scientific approaches to the understanding of legal mindset and its correlation with legal mentality are established. The characteristic of common ethnogenesis factors in the refraction to the formation of the Belarusian ethnos is given. The use of sociological data allows to describe the mental characteristics of various ethnic groups and to present a mental portrait of Belarusians.
