The article discusses the reasons for the increase in the popularity of right-wing ideology in Eastern Europe at the beginning of the 21st century. The authors carry out a comparative analysis of the situation in the countries of the European Union, Ukraine and Russia. Right-wing radicalism is a political movement that aims to change the social structure in the interests of a certain (often titular) nation, race, and in the case of religious Christian radicals, religion. The authors analyze the reasons for the growth of right-wing radical sentiments in the world, which are impoverishment and / or loss of work, globalization, ideological vacuum, emergency laws and decisions. The popularity of right-wing parties and right-wing ideology is growing in many countries. What was considered politically incorrect a few years ago is now widely used in rhetoric at the highest level. Against this background, there is a gradual drift to the right of the political elite of the country, primarily belonging to the right center. It becomes more nationalistically oriented, playing, and mostly successfully, in the political field of right-wing radicals.
