Orthodox fashion in Russia

The paper emphasizes that modern fashion affects various spheres of life: political, economic, social, spiritual. Christianity also does not remain outside its influence. Orthodox fashion has its own special path of development, which is different from other world confessions. At first sight, fashion is the opposite of the Orthodox faith, and religious communities have to reckon with the dictates of fashion, respond to them with their vision of the modern image of a parishioner. Ordinary believers are looking for a suitable style for visiting temples and holy places, based on the recommendations of the Orthodox Church. The paper examines the attitude of the Orthodox community to fashion, draws conclusions based on information from open access Internet resources: television channels and social networks, where publications on this topic are widely presented.
