The article examines the notion, structure and classification of legal consciousness. The researcher sets forth functions of legal consciousness, stages, forms and mechanisms of creating it. The emphasis is given to the peculiarities of juvenile delinquent’s legal consciousness. The author reveals the notion of delinquent behavior and nature of its arising.
