Citizens' legal activity as a tool for development of the rule of law

In the context of the article, the author examines the category of "legal activity of the individual" as a tool for the development of the rule of law. The level of legal activity of citizens contributes to the development of close interaction between the individual and the state, their active cooperation, on which the viability of the Russian state generally depends. The article analyzes various mechanisms and ways to increase legal activity among the population, taking into account the conditions of modern realities. Studying the statistical indicators of citizens' appeals to various state and public structures related to the manifestation of legal activity, the author comes to the conclusion that despite improvements in this area, the level of legal activity of Russians requires further development. A positive result in various spheres of state and public activity is impossible without initiative, independence and activity of people.
